The Port Allegany School District Tax Study Commission is considering a recommendation to look for a referendum on the spring ballot.

That referendum could mean a .5 percent increase in the Earned Income Tax, which will help to fund the minimum property tax relief.

The group will hold a public hearing in the Blue Room at the Port A. Elementary School December 4th at 6:45 PM.
