WESB.com reports:
News: 01/05/07 - Spill-Affected Stream to be Stocked
State Representative Martin Causer says the Fish and Boat Commission will be stocking the stream that was affected by last summer's train derailment. He says he hopes people will be able to fish there this spring. On June 30, 16 cars of a Norfolk Southern train derailed, spilling more than 40 thousand gallons of sodium hydroxide into the Sinnemahoning-Portage Creek. The DEP has ordered Norfolk Southern to clean up the area.
