Mt. Jewett has a new borough solicitor.The borough council voted 5-0 Monday to name Dan Hartle of Foster Township as its new solicitor. Hartle, who has a law firm in Bradford, replaces attorney Erik Ross, a Mt. Jewett resident.Voting in favor of the appointment of Hartle were Council President Dick Danielson, Councilwomen Kathy Martin and Winnie Edinger and Councilmen Brett Morgan and Paul Ewing. Councilwoman Margaret Segulin abstained from voting. Councilwoman Skye Peterson arrived late for the meeting and was not present when the vote was taken.
