We told you earlier this week about a tractor accident near Ludlow... we regret to inform you that the victim in the accident died.

State Police in Kane report that Martin Niklas, 40, of Wetmore Road died when he was run over by a tractor.

The Police report indicates he was ejected from the tractor as he was operating it, before it ran over him and took his life.

Rescue crews were dispatched at about 9 Sunday night. The accident occured at about 7:45.

The police say that as Niklas was traveling along the road, he went off the roadway and into a wooded area, where the accident occured.
