Rep. Martin Causer says that he has petitions in his office for anyone opposing the National Fuel Gas Company’s conservation surcharge.

The gas company is planning to charge customers who use less natural gas. The money is supposedly going to be used to raise awareness about energy conservation. Causer says, “charging customers more who use less, just doesn’t make any sense.”

Petitions and formal complaints to the Public Utilities office can be filed form his offices in Coudersport or Bradford.
