AN Eagle Scout From Bradford will be awarded an honor for saving a woman's life.
18 year old Dan Oaks was headed home from the Universal Techincal Institute in Philadelphia last August when he passed two cars on Route 219 near the town of Lewis Run. He pulled over and found a car on the side of the road in a culvert, with Kate Quinn trapped inside. He grabbed a jack from his car, and rescued Quinn, and called 911.

THe Boy Scouts of America will honor Oaks April 22 with the National Heroism Award.
