The Otto- Eldred Old Home Days May be no more.

Dear Members of Otto Township,

The Old Home Days Committee is in trouble of folding. Currently, there are a
handful of people who attend the meetings; some of these people are from
Eldred. Our president, Dale Magee, has indicated that doesn’t want to head
the event. Dale has done a wonderful job but has certainly put in his time.

When the group originally formed 9 years ago, it was intended that a member
from each organization belong. As every organization benefits from this
event monetarily, it would be advantageous for someone to join the committee
and therefore put in much needed input. As of now, only the Otto Township
Chamber of Commerce, Band Boosters and the Otto Township Fire Department are
represented.

Please discuss this situation at your meetings and see if someone would be
willing to join our committee. We meet once a month at the Franklin
Building – usually the third Sunday of the month at 7:00. Please notify Sue
Zirkle 966-3724 if you are interested and she’ll send you a meeting notice.
