On Christmas Eve, 26-year-old Timothy Bottorf allegedly tried breaking into his grandmother's house through a basement window. Witnesses say they saw him burning an envelope and holding about 400 dollars in cash. He appeared before District Judge Dominic Cercone in a Preliminary hearing Wednesday. The charges were waived to court.
He's still in jail in lieu of 5 thousand dollars bail.
